Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hyrox?
Hyrox is a global fitness race that combines endurance running with functional workout stations like sled pushes, rowing, wall balls, and more. It’s a full-body challenge built for all fitness levels.

I’m new to Hyrox. Can I still join?
Yes! Hyrox training is scalable, meaning coaches will modify movements based on your fitness level. Whether you’re just starting out or prepping for a race, you’ll fit right in.

How often should I train for Hyrox?
Starting with 2–3 sessions a week is great for building endurance. More advanced athletes often train 4–5 times a week to focus on pace, strength, and recovery.

Do I need to be a runner to do Hyrox?
Nope! While running is a key part of Hyrox, many athletes improve their running skills as they go. Coaches will guide you through it step by step.

Is Hyrox only for competitive athletes?
Not at all. While many train for races, others just enjoy the challenge and variety. It’s perfect for anyone looking to push their limits in a supportive environment.

Love this place! Been coming here for 2 months after trying out their trial period. Didn’t have a ton of gym experience before coming here, but everyone was very welcoming. Lots of class times, so it’s easy to find something that works for you, and having so many coaches around is really helpful. They’re always willing to answer questions and make sure you feel supported. 10/10 recommend

SISU Fitness is a fantastic gym! The facilities are clean with high quality equipment. The best part of SISU are the people. The coaches are caring, encouraging and really put a great effort to take an individualized approach to everyone while also creating a fun, inclusive and spirited environment for all athletes in 1:1 and group classes. The results physically and emotionally you will see are the proof points. I would 100% recommend SISU.
